His Death
Christopher Reeve died Sunday October 10th 2004. The cause was from a severe systemic infection caused by a pressure wound, a typical type of paralytics. The infection put him into a coma on October 9th 2004, causing his death at his New York City residence the next day. He was said to have thoughts of suicide, but thinking of his wife and children kept him going. His wife Dana Reeve stayed at his side the whole time without giving up. When asked how she kept up her spirits, Dana Reeve replied: “I was married to a man who never gave up.” |
