Superman
Opening on Krypton, the film follows the Man of Steel as he's sent to Earth where he develops his alter-ego Clark Kent and is raised by a Midwestern family. In no time, the movie has run through his teenage years, and Clark gets a job at the Daily Planet, where he is a news reporter. It's there that he falls in love with Lois Lane , who is already in love with Superman. But the love story is quickly sidetracked once the villainous Lex Luthor launches a diabolical plan to conquer the world and kill Superman.

Superman II
When terrorists threaten to destroy Paris with a thermonuclear device as they hold reporter Lois Lane hostage, Superman comes to the rescue and flings the weapon into space. However, its blast outside the earth's orbit awakens Zod, Ursa, and Non, three villains from Superman's home planet of Krypton who were exiled to outer space for their crimes. Zod and his partners arrive on Earth and use their powers in a bid to take over the U.S., and then the world. However, when Lois realizes that Clark Kent and Superman are actually the same person, he brings her to his Fortress of Solitude, where his decision to marry Lois costs him his powers. |
Superman III
Businessman Ross Webster discovers the hidden talents of Gus Gorman, A computer genius. Ross decides to abuse his talents, in a way to help Webster with his plans for economic control. When Superman interferes, something must be done about Ross. When Gus' synthetic Kryptonite fails to kill Superman, it turns him in an evil incarnation of his former self, setting up the Clark vs. Superman battle. |
Superman Returns
After eliminating General Zod & the other Kryptonian arch-villains, Superman leaves Earth to try to find his former home world of Krypton after astronomers have supposedly found it. When he finds nothing but remains, he returns home to Earth to find out that Lois Lane is engaged to a relative of his boss, and that Lex Luthor is at it again, after swindling an elderly, terminally ill woman. Luthor, whose plans to destroy California failed because of Superman's heroics, vows vengeance against Superman and contrives a new plan, using the crystals of Krypton to build a continent that will wipe out most of North America. Embedded in the continent's structure is Kryptonite, the substance that is Superman's only weakness. Upon learning of Luthor's scheme, Superman must again race against time to stop the psychopathic before millions, possibly billions, are killed.

A young boy named Clark Kent, learns that he has extraordinary powers and is not form Earth. As a young man, he journeys to discover where he came from and what he was sent here to do. But the hero in him must emerge if he is to save the world from annihilation and become the symbol of hope for all mankind. |
